Take Back Day Saturday, October 23, 2021 (10am to 2pm)

Washington County Sheriff W. Samuel Hill, in cooperation with the DEA, has coordinated collection sites within Washington County for the disposal of unused prescription drugs.

Vape pens or other e-cigarette devices from individual consumers, after the batteries are removed from the devices, will be accepted also.

Year-round, permanent drop boxes are available at the Sheriff’s Dept. and Police Departments in
Washington County, Central VT Medical Center lobby, and Kinney Drugs in Berlin and Waterbury.

Free, postage-paid Medication Mail Back envelopes are available through the Vermont
Dept. of Health and Central Vermont New Directions Coalition.
