Washington County Sheriff W. Samuel Hill, in cooperation with the DEA, has coordinated collection sites within Washington County for the safe disposal of unused prescription medications.

Vape pens or other e‐cigarette devices from individual consumers, after the batteries are removed from the devices, will be accepted also.

Note: Year-round, permanent drop boxes are available at the Sheriff’s Department and Police Departments in Washington County, Central Vermont Medical Center lobby and Kinney Drugs in Berlin and Waterbury.
